When you order
We collect your name, email, delivery address and what you ordered, including your design. We use them to take payment, make and post your top, send your receipt and deal with any problems. Our lawful basis is that we need them to carry out our contract with you. We keep order records for six years because UK tax law requires it.
We share only what's needed with: Stripe (payments; your card details go straight to them, not us), Printful (printing and posting, with your name, address and design) and our website hosting and database providers. Some of these companies process data outside the UK under approved safeguards.
Launch updates
If you join the launch list we store your email address, the fact that you ticked the consent box, the exact wording you agreed to, which page you signed up on and when. We use it only to tell you about CRIMBO's launch. We don't sell it or share it for marketing. Our lawful basis is your consent under UK GDPR, and you can withdraw it at any time — every email will have an unsubscribe link, and until then you can ask us to delete your details using the contact details above.
Your designs
The builder runs in your browser. Drafts and saved designs live in your browser's local storage on your device. Share cards and print files are generated on your device. Share links contain the design settings (top, colour, slogan, stickers) and nothing personal.
When you share a design, we store those design settings so people can vote on it, and the most-voted ones can appear on our shop page. Designs with your own words are checked by a person before they can appear there. To stop the same phone voting twice, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of a random ID stored on your device and of your internet connection's address — we can't turn these back into who you are, and we don't link them to your email.
Analytics
We count a few anonymous actions (like “added a sticker”) in your own browser's storage to understand what's fun. No third-party tracking is switched on.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Get in touch using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
