Terms of sale
These terms apply when you buy from CRIMBO. Plain English where we can manage it. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
CRIMBO is run by:
Lucy Studio Ltd (trading as CRIMBO)86-90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom
Company number 17474273, registered in England and Wales
Contact email coming soon.
2. What we sell
Personalised T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies, printed to order with the design you make in our builder. Each one is made just for you by our print partner and posted from the UK. We currently deliver to UK addresses only.
Screens show colours differently, and printed ink on fabric never looks exactly like a screen. Small differences in colour, print position (within a couple of centimetres) and garment shade are normal and are not faults.
3. Ordering
When you pay, you're offering to buy. We accept your order, and a contract is formed, when we send your top to print, which normally happens within minutes. You'll get a receipt by email.
We may cancel an order and refund you in full if the design breaks section 5, if we've made an obvious pricing error, or if the top can't be made. If that happens we'll tell you as soon as we can.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and shown before you pay: T-shirt £24, sweatshirt £36, hoodie £42, plus £3.95 UK delivery per order. Lucy Studio Ltd is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
5. Your design
You're responsible for the words you add. By ordering, you confirm your design doesn't:
- copy someone else's trademark, logo, artwork, song lyrics or characters;
- include anything hateful, threatening, obscene, defamatory or illegal;
- include anyone's private personal information without their permission.
You give us permission to print your design and to show it back to you. If you share it to our gallery, you also let us show it on our website. You keep any rights you have in your own words.
6. Delivery
Tops are usually printed within 2 to 5 working days and then take a few more working days to arrive, so allow about 5 to 10 working days in total. Busy times, especially December, can take longer. We'll publish Christmas last-order dates on the site when the carriers confirm them. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees.
Your top becomes yours, and is your responsibility, once it's delivered to the address you gave. Please check that address carefully, because we can't redirect parcels once they've been sent.
7. Cancelling, returns and faults
Because every top is made to your own design, the usual 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply to it (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, regulation 28(1)(b)). Orders go to print almost straight away, so we usually can't cancel or change them after payment.
If your top arrives faulty, damaged, misprinted or wrong, tell us within 30 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund you. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. Full details are in our returns and faults policy.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we break these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. We aren't responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing here limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Your information
We use your name, email and delivery address to make and send your order. See our privacy note.
10. The legal bit
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there. If you have a problem, please contact us first and we'll do our best to put it right.
